Obituary of Clarence Hanford Sundeen

Clarence Hanford Sundeen, 95, of Cloquet died Thursday, November 1, 2001 in Community Memorial Hospital in Cloquet. He was born August 9, 1906 in Cloquet to Victor and Antonia (Johnson) Sundeen. On March 29, 1930 he married Iris Blake. Clarence was a painter his entire life until retiring in 1973. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters. Clarence is survived by his wife of 71 years, Iris, of Cloquet; a son, Paul (Sandra) of Riverside, California; a daughter, Mary Jeanne Kojo of Cloquet; a brother, Sherman (June) of Vancouver, Washington; and a sister, Lucille (Ralph) Millen of Carlton; 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren 3 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation was from 5 to 7 P.M. Monday, November 5, 2001 in Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th St. in Cloquet and from 10:00 until the 11:00 A.M. service Tuesday, November 6, 2001 in Zion Lutheran Church, 1000 Washington Ave. in Cloquet. Burial was in Motley Cemetery, Motley, Minn. Arrangements entrusted to Northland Funeral Home, Cloquet. 218-879-7184
