Obituary of Arthur W. Granholm

Arthur W. Granholm, 88, of Cloquet, died Tuesday, November 20, 2001 in Cloquet Community Memorial Hospital. He was born in Cloquet, the son of Edwin and Rosa Granholm. During WWII, he served as a captain in the Army Air Corp. Art worked as an electrical engineer in the oil refining industry. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Cloquet and a 52 year elected member of the American Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. He is survived by his wife, Irene of Cloquet; two sons, Norm (Rose) of Cincinnati, OH and Bob of Galveston, TX; and two granddaughters, Meredith Rose Granholm and Circe Marie Granholm. A memorial service was held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 24, 2001 in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Cloquet. Arrangements entrusted to Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet.
