Obituary of Grace Marie Bader

Grace Marie Bader, of Cloquet passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 in Sunnyside Health Care Center. She was born in Minneapolis on July 24 to Richard and Ida (Jacobson) McGrane. She grew up in Wolf Lake, Minn. until the family moved to Cloquet while she was in her early teens. She graduated from Cloquet High School in 1945. She married Robert Bader on January 1, 1976. Grace worked at Diamond Match, Wood Conversion/Conwed, Montgomery Wards, Sears, Inter-City Gas and retired from Cloquet Transit. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary. Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Bob and brother, Melvin McGrane. She is survived by two daughters, Gracelyn (Ted) Graham of Leadville, CO and Karen (Paul) Padgett of Cloquet; two step-sons, Dean (Evelyn) Bader of Wrenshall and Ryan (Janet) Bader of Carlton; eight grandchildren, Jason, Amber, Jory, Natalia, Jennifer, Jill, Ahnna, and Laurie; and 11 great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Sunnyside Health Care Center for the excellent care given to Grace. Graveside services will be held in the spring in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cloquet.
