Obituary of Steven W. Shake

Steven Ward Shake, 72 of Buhl, formerly of Staples, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020 in Essentia Health St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth. Steven was a long time resident of Staples and owned and operated Steve's Club in Pillager. He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Shirley Shake; brother, Gary Shake; sister, Sherry Shake; granddaughter, Jordan Butcher; and grandson, Butchie Butcher. He is survived by his children, Stephanie (Butch) Butcher, Steven, Justin (Kassie) Shake, and Charlize Martin; siblings, Betty (Steve) Lorber, Denise (Bucky) Bickford, Emily Tholl, JO Pollock, and Larry Shake; Grandchildren, Margo (Justin) Butcher, Dolton (Ashley) Butcher, and Cole (Chelsea) Shake; and great grandchildren, Izabella, Tucker, Briggs and Stratton. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Atkins Northland Funeral Home, Cloquet, MN.
