Special memories come winging back at a time like this remembering playing together as kids at at a northern lake campsite while our parents fished, summertime at the farm laughing on the hammock, stopping in Faribault at his school on our trips back and forth to Albert Lea, being so grateful with his help to me numerous times as a new mother keeping the kids in their beds at bedtime (!), cleaning my kitchen for me, folding diapers and oh so many days later shopping and sharing ideas and recipes over the phone. He was a gem! Our entire family sends love and blessings to Steve, Kathy, Herb and Howard. Dyan said she is baking a loaf of banana bread today in his memory.
