Obituary of Marshall Lee Gran
Marshall Lee Gran, 37, of Barnum, MN passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021 in Duluth. Marshall was born on June 18, 1984 in Cloquet to Russell and Jill Gran. He was raised in Blackhoof Township and attended Carlton High School graduating in 2002.
As a child, Marshall learned masonry and carpentry while helping his Dad. He continued to work for him building new homes and remodeling around Carlton and St. Louis counties. Marshall worked as a plumbing apprentice in Minneapolis before returning to the Duluth area.
Marshall was a talented guitar player and an outdoorsman with a specific interest in trout fishing. He loved nature, was an avid reader and a kind and gentle soul.
Marshall will be greatly missed by his parents, Russell and Jill of Barnum; brothers, Cody (Katie) Gran of Duluth, Travis Gran of Superior, WI, and Jacob (Autumn) Gran of Hastings; sister, Chelsea (Tim) Leutgeb of Duluth; grandparents, Judy Lippo of Cloquet and John and Jan Stanslaski of Barnum; nieces and nephews, McKenzie, Tyler, Clara and Arlo; and many Loved Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
The family will have a private memorial service to celebrate Marshall’s life.
