Obituary of Martin Rediske
Martin Rediske, 64 of Cloquet passed away in St. Luke’s Hospital on Friday, December 3, 2021. He was born in St. Paul, MN on March 2, 1957 to Charles and Adeline Rediske. He was raised in Shoreview, MN and graduated from Mounds View High School in 1975.
Martin worked for Syn Gro for 30 years as a machine mechanic and retired in 2020. He enjoyed golf, and collecting agates and old coins.
Martin never left a friend behind, he always tried to lend a helping hand to anyone he knew. He was a very jovial man, he had a great sense of humor and wasn’t afraid to “break the ice”.
Martin was preceded in death by his parents, Adeline and Charles; sister and brother-in-law, Charlene and Clayton Lahlum; brothers, Dennis and Rollyn; brother-in-law, Tom Thompson; and nephew, Jim Hoffman.
He is survived by sister, Melodee Thompson; brothers, Roger (Christina), Charles (Marcy), Steven (Caroline), Jonathan, Matthew (Tammy); sisters-in law, Pat Rediske and Donna Rediske; and many nieces, nephews and numerous good friends.
Martin was an organ donor. Marty was able to to donate his skin, bones, sternum, connective tissue and eyes at Life Source. He would have been proud of that.
