Obituary of Beverly Joyce Peterson

Beverly Joyce Peterson, 90 of Cloquet passed away peacefully Monday, May 16, 2022, in her home surrounded by her family. She was born June 23, 1931 in Minneapolis, MN to Charles and Joyce (Keplinger) Plotnik.  Beverly graduated in 1949 from Roosevelt High School. 

Beverly worked in the manufacturing industry as a laborer for Honeywell, Fingerhut, and as a nanny before retiring.  She was a part of the Cloquet VFW Auxiliary 3979.  Beverly enjoyed reading, her music collection, her video collection, and crochet.  She was an avid dancer and taught ballroom dancing.  Beverly was a member of the Silver Belles.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Genavon (Murray) Hoel, Sheree (Walter Coulter) Twedt; son, Thomas Peterson; sisters, Patricia (Rodney) Gagnon, and Vennette (Milt) Bellin.

Beverly is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Donald “Corky”) Hemsworth of Cloquet; son, Steven (Sherry) Peterson of Waite Park; 10 grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
