Obituary of Carol Jean Briner
Carol Jean Briner, 66, of Canyon passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, August 5, 2022 in her home. Carol was born on October 12, 1955 in Cloquet to Ben and Olga Tuomi. She attended Cloquet High School. On October 18, 1998 Carol married Donald Briner.
She worked at Northwest Paper, later Potlatch and Sappi until her retirement in 2017. Carol enjoyed planting flower gardens and vegetable gardens.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Christopher Janeczek.
She will be greatly missed by her husband, Donald of Canyon; sister, Linda (Jim) Nelson; granddaughter, Britney Janeczek of Superior; and three great granddaughters.
Visitation: 3:00 p.m. until the 4:00 p.m. memorial service Tuesday, September 6, 2022 in Atkins Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Cloquet.
