Dear Carey, Curt, Cindy and Carolyn,
Oh the many memories of good times with Cliff and Carol: playing cards, going to the state fair, evenings out, picnics. I often thought of Carol, wondering how she was and where she was. I think I even sent a card but never knew if it reached her. I still use a frosting recipe she shared with me, and it always came out "right." You were correct in saying she worked hard to make a good home and care for her family.
I am sad I didn't get to see her as we aged, but I am left with the comfort of wonderful memories and the knowledge that she is "Asleep in Jesus now." You were privileged to have such unique, ambitious parents.
