Obituary of Lloyd Daniel Rontti
Lloyd Daniel Rontti, 88, of Esko passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022 in his home. He was born on September 13, 1934 in Atkinson, Minnesota. Lloyd served in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1960. On July 29, 1961 he married Rose Carol Norman.
Lloyd retired in 1992 after serving 31 years in the U.S. Postal Service. Lloyd was a do it yourself handyman. He loved his children, grandchildren, and one great grandchild. He enjoyed their visits so much.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose; son, Philip; and daughter, Karen.
Lloyd is survived by his children, Pamela, Diane, Darlene, Mark, Susan, Peter and Barbara; grandchildren, Bruce, Hannah, Mark Jr., Grace, Emily, Olivia, Anthony, and Ethan; one great granddaughter, Isla Rose; and his brothers, Don and Harvey.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Atkins Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet. The family requests masks be worn, and everyone practice social distancing. A private family funeral service will be held.
