It was an easy pleasure getting to know Dolly. She was a gem, and she sure knew her stuff as she worked alongside with Leo at the lumber yard. Actually, we built our two houses with their knowledge and guidance, and great service! Our thoughts, prayers, and sincere sympathy are with her family at this time. She will be missed!

I worked in Cromwell for several years and met Dolly as a result. I loved her sass. She was just such a light. While I've been away from the area for 12 years now, Dolly is absolutely someone I remember with joy. Prayers as you grieve and hugs as you celebrate her life.

Dolly was an "angel" to my mother (Eunice Lowry) for many years as my mother was getting older herself. And I appreciated this so much, since I was always living so many hundreds of miles from Wright and couldn't be there to help my mother in person. On many hundreds and hundreds of mornings Dolly would carry my mother's mail to the house at about 7:45 a.m. She would step inside to bring morning greetings and make sure that everything was O.K. Then she would go on her way.
I last spoke to Dolly by phone on January 30th, eleven days before she died. And I am so glad that she sounded great. She was happy. She enjoyed the weekly church services. She liked Villa Vista. Her voice sounded strong. It was a good conversation.
She made a positive difference in my mother's life and my life. And, if I were to guess, I am sure that she did that in many other lives as well.

What a lovely photo of a lovely lady. Dolly was the friendliest, kindest person. She was also the best paint mixer! She had the right touch in the days when it wasn't automated. John & Janice Gran
