Obituary of Dolly D. Niemi
Dolly D. Niemi, 88, of Wright, Minnesota joined her family and cats in heaven on Friday, February 10, 2023. She was born in Wright, Minnesota to Joseph and Tillie Solomon.
Dolly enjoyed lawn mowing, sewing, flower gardening, feeding people, and all living things, especially cats.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Veikko; son, Recko; daughter, Karen; grandson, Joe; longtime partner, Leo Dahlberg; five sisters; and one brother.
She will be missed by her son, Jay (Julie) Gronroos; daughter, Bonnie Lynne (Steve) Haluptzok; son, David (Marianne) Niemi; special friend, Deb Goranson; grandson, Maxamillian Peterson; granddaughter, Julianne (Tyler Olson) Niemi; Leo’s daughter, Sharon Lake and her children, Robin and Eric Lake and great grandchildren, Max, Thalia and Astrid; two brothers; two sisters; and numerous relatives and friends.
