Obituary of Nancy Ann Maslowski
Nancy Ann Maslowski, 79, of Cloquet passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, in St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth. She was born on April 1, 1944, in Esko to Hugo and Norma Johnson. Nancy was raised and attended school in Esko, graduating in 1962. Nancy married Gerald Maslowski on August 16, 1969, in Scanlon.
Nancy attended Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College as an adult and earned a Chemical Dependency Counselor degree. She owned “a Just for You” sewing business. She was a guardian ad litem in Carlton County and worked in inventory control at Black Bear Casino.
She enjoyed playing solitaire, bird watching, and sketching. Nancy was a collector of figurines, crystal bells, Avon, and PartyLite.
Nancy was preceded in death by her son, Jason; mother, Norma; father, Hugo; mother and father-in-law, Helen and Bernard; brother, Warner; and grandson, Joshua.
She will be deeply missed by her husband of 53 years, Gerald; daughters, Denise (Chuck Smith) Maslowski and Sariina (Eric) Kalli; grandchildren, Veronica Henschel, Solana Angell, David Angell, Sierra Kalli, Chase Kalli, Kaz Maslowski, and Logan Maslowski; great grandchildren, Kyra, Rylei, Sophia, CaliBrynn, Drew, Elizabeth, and Benjamin; brother, Sherman (Gail) Johnson; sister, Lorraine (Bill) Brunner; and numerous friends and loved ones.
Visitation: 1:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. memorial service, Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Atkins Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet.
