Obituary of Michele Ann Port

Michele Ann Port, 48 of Carlton, died Wednesday, January 29, 2003 in her home with her family by her side. She was born August 3, 1954 in Cloquet to John and Janice (Bayless) Port. Michele grew up and attended school in Cloquet. She worked as an LPN at the Moose Lake State Hospital and Liberalis for the past 25 years. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, reading, traveling and camping. Michele will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Michele was preceded in death by her mother, Janice Port and her step-mother, Mardell Port. She is survived by her son, Jason of Owatonna; father, John Port of Superior; brother, William (Cathy) Port of Brandon, Miss.; sisters, Janet (Dennis) Kalli of Esko and Renee Cragin of Cloquet; step-sister, Doreen (Bruce) Smith of Superior; nephews, Eric and Kerry Kalli, Tom, Brian, Chad and Glen Port; nieces, Aundrea Kalli, Amanda Port and Maddie and Chelsie Cragin; and her two special cats, Pearl and Ivory. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 4, 2003 in Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th St.in Cloquet. Inurnment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cloquet.
