Obituary of Ailie Amanda Tuve

Ailie Amanda Tuve, 89, Aurora, formerly of Cloquet, died Thursday, February 21, 2002 in White Community Nursing Home in Aurora. She was born July 27, 1912 in Thomson Township to Henry and Hannah (Jacobson) Alto. Ailie married Waldemar Tuve on August 2, 1946. They settled in Pengilly where she lived until 1983. She then moved to Cloquet where she lived until moving to the Aurora area in 1996. Ailie enjoyed reading, writing and music. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wally Tuve in 1982, and a brother, Emil Alto. A beloved mother and grandmother, Ailie will be deeply missed by her three children, Boyd Tuve of Duluth, Karen (Pat) Strasser of West St. Paul and Clint (Gail) Tuve of Aurora; a sister, Ellen Goodman of Cloquet and 6 grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday, February 25, 2002 at 1:00 P.M. in Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet. Inurnment was in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
