Obituary of Keith William Underland

Keith William Underland, 52, of Wrenshall died Wednesday, September 24, 2003 in St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth. He was born February 20, 1951 in Bismark, North Dakota to Melvin and Romayne (Novak) Underland. He graduated from Alborn High School in 1969. After high school, Keith joined the Army and served his country until 1979. He moved to Barnum and attended Vo-Tech in Duluth graduating in 1984 with a degree in Auto Body/Welding. In 1999, he went to work in the maintenance department at Black Bear Hotel and most recently worked at The Canal Park Inn in Duluth. He was a member of the Carlton VFW and AM Vets. Keith is survived by his children, Heather (Sean) Senarighi of Duluth, Jolene (Jake Schweitzer) Underland of Mason City, Iowa; Thomas Underland of Barnum; and their mother, Judy Underland of Barnum; a brother, David (Joan) Underland of Brainerd; a sister, Diane Gatchell of Cloquet; two grandsons, Braden and Hunter Senarighi of Duluth. The family will receive friends from 2 until the 3:00 p.m. Memorial Service on Monday, September 29, 2003 in Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th St. in Cloquet.
