Obituary of Aasta Lokka Viebahn

Aasta Lokka Viebahn, 83, of Cloquet, died Saturday, March 2, 2002 in Cloquet Community Memorial Nursing Home. She was born March 29, 1918 in Telemark, Norway, to Niri and Ingaborg Lokka and she immigrated from Norway in February, 1951. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred on November 1, 1997 and nine brothers and sisters. Aasta is survived by her two daughters, Janet (Dale) Schul and Beverly (Steve) Kolb, both of Cloquet; two sisters, Signe Vegheim and Aase Johansson, both of Notodden, Norway and 5 grandchildren, Crystal, Jered, Caitlin, Chelsea and Taylor. Funeral services were held Wednesday,March 6, 2002 until the in Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, followed by a luncheon in the Fireside Room of Northland Funeral Home.
