Obituary of Myrtle C. Murray

Myrtle C. Murray, 95 of Floodwood, died Thursday, August 8, 2002 in Villa Vista Nursing Home in Cromwell. She was born in Iron River, Wisc. to Torvel and Anna (Madsen) Jensen. She graduated from Iron River High School in 1926. Myrtle married Edward Murray on July 11, 1929 in Duluth. They lived in Duluth until moving to Floodwood in 1948. Myrtle loved the outdoors and was an avid MN Twins fan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward in 1970; a brother, Clarence Jensen and two sisters, Gladys TaBelle and Agnes Walliin. Myrtle is survived by her daughter, Luella (Ralph) Maki of Floodwood; 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Graveside services were held at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, August 13, 2002 in Forest Hill Cemetery, Van Buren Township. Arrangements entrusted to Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th St. in Cloquet.
