Obituary of Fern B. Johnson

Fern B. Johnson, 87, Cloquet, died Thursday, July 8, 2004 in Inter-Faith Care Center, Carlton. She was born September 13, 1916 in Cloquet, the daughter of Hugh and Elizabeth (Young) Mullen. Fern was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl Elon Johnson and two brothers, Jerome and Hugh Mullen. She is survived by two sons, James (Pauline) Johnson of Blythewood, SC and Gerald (Carolyn) Johnson of Cassett, SC; two daughters, JoAnn (Curtis) Oswell of Carlton and Charlotte (Arthur) Johnson of Cloquet; two brothers, John Mullen (Annie List) of Mora and Dale (Denise) Mullen of Cloquet; four sisters, June Myllymaa, Faith (Alvin) Sloan and Margaret (Leslie) Clemens, all of Cloquet and Madonna Morrissette of Owatonna, IL; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services were held on Monday, July 12, 2004 in Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street in Cloquet. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery in Cloquet.
