The news of Rolands passing comes to me with sadness and a heavy heart. I worked with Roland in Colorado Springs for a couple of years, We shared a lot of good times at work as well as off work. My condolences to the family. I remember talking to Rolands mother from somewhere in California, I know Roland meant the world to you and you should know he was good man and I know you were very proud of him. Having Roland for a friend a co-worker was truly an honor. Rest in peace Roland.

It is with heavy hearts that we sign this guest book for Roland. From the 1st time we met him (peeling out in his car down our street), to the last time we talked to him (trying to make plans to go jetskiing at the lake), we have come full circle. His passing has left a huge hole. We are still expecting to hear that loud, thunderous laugh of his anyday now. Hope we can all remember the best in him. Rest easy Roland.

I worked with Roland at Airborne Express in Colorado Springs since the time he moved here to be our plane mechanic. He will be greatly missed not only by me but by many people at Airborne/COS. I'll never forget his crazy laugh. I always thought it was so neat that he was from Moose Lake, as I was born in Duluth back in 1966 also. He was always so willing to lend a helping hand and was a great mechanic. I would like to express my deepest sympathy for his family and friends.

My sincerest condolences. Unfortunately, I never had the opportunity to meet Roland, who is my second cousin. I wish I had.

I'm so sad to hear about Roland. I loved him very much and always will. Roland was a very smart man. He could fix anything with ease. He spoke of the love for his mother, brother, and sister often. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him here in Colorado. Roland, I will miss you so much. You will always have a special place in my heart.
My love
Rita

It is with great sadness that I learned today of Roland's passing. As an FAA Inspector, I was always impressed with Roland's knowledge of aircraft systems, and with his ability to maintain complex aircraft such as the DC-8 and DC-9 to a high degree of reliability. Besides our professional relationship, Roland and I were good friends. I continually turned to him for help with keeping my collector cars running after I had retired from the FAA. Roland, your passing saddens me more than you could know. May the peace of Christ be with you always.
