Obituary of Wilma Ellen Ketchum

Wilma Ellen Ketchum, 68, formerly of Kerrick died Tuesday, November 4, 2003 in St. Luke's Hospice in Duluth. She was born June 10, 1935 in Sandstone to Ted and Vi (Hill) Breiland. She grew up and attended school in Bruno. On October 3, 1953 she married Kenneth Ketchum in the Bruno Presbyterian Church. After their marriage they made their home in Cloquet until 1960 at which time they moved to Askov where they owned and operated the Askov Café. In 1967 they sold the café and moved to Kerrick where Wilma was a member of Oak Lake Lutheran Church. She returned to Cloquet in 1990. Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth on July 12, 2001. She is survived by her children Bill and Vicki Ketchum both of Cloquet; sisters, Lillian (Gene) Bates of Cloquet and Delores Nelson of Tucson, Arizona. Visitation: Noon until the 1:00 p.m. memorial service Friday, November 7, 2003 in Oak Lake Lutheran Church in Kerrick. Inurnment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Kerrick. Arrangements entrusted to Northland Funeral Home, Cloquet.
