I WAS IN THE MILITARY WITH RAY BACK IN 1945,46. I ENJOYED HIS FRIENDSHIP THE SHORT TIME WE WERE TOGETHER. MY BROTHER AND I VISITED WITH HIM SOME YEARS AGO. I HAVE THOUGHT OF HIM OFTEN AND WONDERED WHERE AND WHAT HE WAS DOING. MY SINCERE SYMPATHY TO HIS LOVING FAMILY. HARLAND

I extend my deepest sympathies to the entire Widell family. I remember many times I played at their home as a child, and was a grateful recipient of their hospitality as a young boy following a house fire in my family home. Ray's warmth, humor, and generosity will not be forgotten. He will be missed. My prayers are with Bernice, Kathy, and Debbie, and all the rest of the family.

I grew up with the Widell Family as next door neighbors. Ray was a neighbor in the true sense of the word. He was very good to my father, (Sydney Markusen), who passed 19 years ago. On numerous occasions he helped my Dad put up HAM Radio antennas that had be knocked down during thunderstorms. He came over in the middle of the night to fix a broken sump pump while my Dad was in the hospital. There are many more instances of his kindness. The entire Widell family has beed very generous to us over the years. My Love to Bernice, Kathy and Debbie and their families. RuthAnn

Bernice,Kathy,Debbie and families,
We cannot be there in person, but our love and prayers are right there beside each one of you. We will come to be with you when we get home.
May you know we share your loss too.
May the prayers going up on your behalf give you a small touch of comfort.
We Love You All. How touching your Godchild Troy is a pallbearer. We have a beautiful tape of Ray and Bernice at Harveys retirement you are welcome to watch if you should desire in the future.
Love Always, Harvey and Carol
