Obituary of Floyd A. Huima

Floyd A. Huima, 78, Esko, died Saturday, March 22, 2003 in Chris Jensen Nursing Home, Duluth. He was born October 31, 1924 in Cloquet, the son of Axel and Esther (Sarkela) Huima. Floyd married Jane Kinnunen on August 30, 1947 in Esko. He was a veteran, serving in the Army during World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents. Floyd is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jane, of Esko; a son Bill (Marlene) Huima of Esko; daughters Lois (Ray) Erickson of Duluth and Lynn Sarkela of Denver; grandchildren Jason (Carrie), Katie, Jeremy and Kyle Erickson and Sybil and Whitney Huima; and sisters, Edna Maki of Grand Rapids and Barbara Wilson of Cloquet. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 in Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet. Spring interment will be at Apostolic Lutheran Cemetery, Esko.
