Obituary of Raymond Kirzy

Raymond Kirzy, 84, Wright, died Saturday, July 24, 2004 at his home. He was born November 13, 1919 in Wright, MN, the son of Joseph and Agnes (Zenkowski) Kirzy. He was a Navy veteran serving during WWII. Ray had been employed for 21 years at the Radiation Laboratory at the University of California in Livermore, CA. He was a member of the Senior Center of Wright and Alcoholics Anonymous and enjoyed dancing, playing cards and working at home with machinery. Raymond is survived by two sons, Charles Kirzy and Bill (Tracy) Kirzy, both of Bend, OR; a sister, Edith (Glenn) Kumm of Wright; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren; an aunt, Martha Kanosky of Minneapolis; a very special friend, Ailie Costello of Wright; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 until the 2:00 p.m. memorial service in Free Evangelical Church of Wright. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
