I am the daughter of Ray Salmi, Jennie's nephew. My husband and I came to visit Jennie and my relatives there several years ago. I still remember her collecting new potatoes out of the garden to make for dinner the afternoon we came to see her. I remember her being so tender and sweet. She reminded me so much of my grandmother (her sister) Aina. She will be missed. Our prayers are with her family.

To my dearest Auntie Jennie. What fond memories we have of you. That great smile and twinkle in your eye will always be remembered. Your humorous personality and hospitality brought such joy to all who knew you. You will be missed, but we know you are in a better place.
Love,
Larry and Bev

I had many good years with Jennie at the Cloquet nursing home she was a joy to work with and just to be around her made you smile. She is going to be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

Lyle, Frannie and Family,
Just want you to know what a joy it was getting to know Auntie Jennie again when she would come to visit Gram (in the Nursing Home). She always had a smile on her face and could always make us laugh. I will always remember eating bisquit in her tiny house on the North Road. My sympathies are with you. Kelly
