Obituary of Esther E. Hendrickson

Esther E. Hendrickson, 79, of Floodwood died Sunday, November 24, 2002 in her home. She was born March 8, 1923 in Van Buren Township to Frank and Lillian (Hill) Hendrickson. She graduated from the Floodwood High School in 1942 and attended St. Cloud Teachers' College for one year. Esther moved to Worcester, Mass. and was employed by Telechron until retiring in 1987 at which time she moved back to Floodwood. She was a member of the Floodwood Senior Citizens Club. Esther enjoyed trips to the Black Bear with friends and family. Esther was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ernest and Edward; sisters, Helen Haanpaa and Elsie Rautio. She is survived by three brothers, Leo, Walter (Lois) Hendrickson both of Floodwood, Oscar Hendrickson of Worcester, Mass. and her sister, Sadie Maki of Hibbing and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2002 in Hope Lutheran Church in Floodwood. Inurnment was in Forest Hill Cemetery in Van Buren Township. Arrangements entrusted to Northland Funeral Home, Cloquet.
