Obituary of Elaine Marie Berg

Elaine Marie Berg, 86 of Cloquet died Thursday, June 5, 2003 in Inter-Faith Care Center in Carlton. She was born August 7, 1916 in Cloquet to Benjamin and Mary (Sather) Anderson. She attended Big Lake School and the Cloquet High School. On December 21, 1932, Elaine married Oscar Berg in Cloquet. She was former member of the Cloquet Country Club and its Tuesday Morning Women's Group, and the Women of the Moose. Elaine enjoyed golfing, dancing, knitting, crocheting and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar in 1974; three brothers; four sisters; her granddaughter, Leanne Sedor-Jarvis; and her great granddaughter, Sasha Chapman. Elaine is survived by two daughters, Carol (Donald) Sedor, of Cloquet; and Judy (Gerald) Chapman of Lindstrom; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, June 8, 2003 from 1:00 until the 2:00 p.m. funeral service in Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th St in Cloquet. Luncheon will follow in the Fireside Room of the funeral home. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Cloquet.
