Obituary of Ramona Maxine Fall

Ramona "Monie" Maxine Fall, 66, of Cloquet died Thursday, March 5, 2009 in Sunnyside Health Care Center in Cloquet. She was born in McGregor on April 1, 1942 to Chester and Ruth Grindle. Ramona graduated from Carlton High School in 1960. She married Ralph Fall in Bethesda Lutheran Church in Carlton on August 6, 1961. Ramona worked at the Carlton County Court House after high school and at Pamida in the 1970's. She was an Avon representative for 13 years from 1994 to 2007. She loved to do crafting, and sewing and made dolls. She also enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, and canning. Ramona was preceded in death by a son, Russell; and a sister, Marlys Tate. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Ralph of Cloquet; son, Ron (Sally) Fall of Motley; brother, Wayne (Evelyn) Grindle of Creston, B.C.; sisters, Merla Neumann of Spring Park, Minn., Shirley Vrdoljak of Moose Lake, and Joyce Seppala of Sandpoint, ID; 4 granddaughters; and 2 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 in the Atkins-Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street in Cloquet. A time of lunch and fellowship followed in the Fireside Room of the funeral home. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery in Carlton.
