Obituary of Gloria Irene Beatty

Gloria Irene Beatty, 73 of Cromwell died Saturday, May 22, 2004 in Mercy Health Care Center in Moose Lake. She was born April 17, 1931 in Kalevala Township to Arthur and Elvira (Saari) Heikkila. Gloria graduated from Cromwell High School in 1949. On September 1, 1951 she married Jim Beatty in Cromwell in a double ceremony with her brother, Elroy and his wife, Pat. Gloria was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Fingarson; and an infant brother, Russell Heikkila. She is survived by her husband, Jim of Cromwell; daughters, Susan (Tracy) Mahrer of Proctor and Nancy (Cliff) Lind of Superior; brothers, Raymond Heikkila, Elroy Heikkila, and Billy (Nancy) Heikkila all of Cromwell; three grandsons, James, David and Christopher. Funeral services were held on Thursday, May 27, 2004 in Northland Funeral Home.
