Obituary of Stella Telka Berkey

Stella Telka Berkey, 72, of Cloquet, died Saturday, September 28, 2002 in St. Luke's Hospital, Duluth. She was born November 7, 1929 in New York. She had been employed in the Admitting Office of Cloquet Community Memorial Hospital. Stella was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Eagles Club and the community gatherings at Larson Commons. She enjoyed bingo, antiquing, family get-togethers and traveling. Stella is survived by her daughter, Anna Rose (Jerry) Dion of Cloquet, her son, William Bookin, Jr. of California; a sister, Anne Moreira of New York, a special friend, Joe Kulaszewicz of Cloquet; five grandchildren, Howard Dion, Nicole (Chris) Pfisthner, Kristine Tindell, Michelle (Tony) Johnson, and Christina Bookin; five great grandchildren, Kayla Tindell, Kyle Dion, Morgan Johnson, and Wyatt and Nicholas Pfisthner; many nieces and nephews and special friends. A memorial service was held Wednesday, October 2, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. in Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 12th and Doddridge, Cloquet.
