Obituary of Florence Ledin Novacinski

Florence Ledin Novacinski, 67 of Cloquet died Wednesday, October 17, 2001 in St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth. She was born April 1, 1934 in Superior, Wisconsin to Frank and Alma (Wagner) Ledin. She graduated from Superior East High School in 1951. Florence worked at Oliver Mining in Duluth for many years. She married Henry Novacinski on June 14, 1955 at which time she moved to Cloquet. During the 1960's and 70's, she worked at McGlynn Bakery. Florence was a longtime member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. She loved to camp and spend time with her family. All who knew her will remember her kind and gentle nature. She was a beloved wife and devoted mother and grandmother. Florence was preceded in death by three brothers, Oliver, Willetts and Charles Ledin. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Henry; sons, Jason of Cloquet and Grant (Cheryl) of St. Cloud; daughter, Brenda Novacinski of Minneapolis; brother, Melvin (Pauline) Ledin of Superior; two grandchildren, Moriah and Ethan Novacinski. Visitation was from 9:30 until the 11:00 AM service Friday, October 19, 2001 in Our Savior's Lutheran Church (12th and Doddridge) in Cloquet. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cloquet. Arrangements entrusted to Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th St. in Cloquet.
