Obituary of Lawrence E. Addleman

Lawrence E. Addleman, 77, Duluth, formerly of Esko, died Sunday, April 6, 2003 in St. Mary's Medical Center due to complications from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on March 13th. He was born on January 29, 1926 in Winona, the son of Elmer and Poxeda (Kowaleski) Addleman. He married Pearl Buggs on August 1, 1953 in Winona. They lived in the Twin cities from 1962 until 1968, when they moved to Esko. Lawrence moved from Esko to Duluth in 2001. He was employed as an ironworker superintendent by Johnson Brothers, Litchfield, MN, for 28 years, retiring in 1985. Lawrence enjoyed fishing, woodworking and snowmobiling. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl, on March 25, 2001; one brother, Bob Addleman; and three sisters, Delores Richer, Virginia Wetzel and Betty Stellphlug. Lawrence is survived by two sons, Tim (Shirley) Addleman of Barnum and Dennis (Sharon) Addleman of Boonville, MO; five grandchildren and two brothers, LeRoy Addleman of Texas and Ron (Tammy) Addleman of Holmen, WI. Funeral services were held on Thursday, April 10, 2003 in Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery.
