Obituary of Priscilla Louise Eggebraaten

Priscilla Louise "Pat" Eggebraaten, 61, Cloquet, died Saturday, March 23, 2002 in Cloquet Community Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born November 3, 1940 in Duluth to Edward and Victoria (Jakubek) Abrahamson. Pat was a 1958 graduate of Hermantown High School and attended St. Scholastica for two years studying to become a medical lab technician. She then enlisted in the US Army, where she served for four years. Following her military service, Pat returned to Duluth and married Bruce Eggebraaten in 1970. She was employed for 30 years as a lab tech by the Cloquet Community Hospital, retiring due to her illness. Pat was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and the Women of the Moose in Cloquet and a former member of the Duluth American Legion. She was an avid Goldwing motorcycle enthusiast and traveled all over the country with her husband on their motorcycles. Pat also enjoyed golf and bowling on the senior league, Thursday afternoon fun league and mixed doubles. Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce on July 1, 1992; her father, Edward on May 10, 1973 and her maternal grandmother, Mary Oles on October 24, 1990. She is survived by her mother, Victoria Abrahamson of Duluth; three brothers, Duane and Edward (Grace), both of Duluth and Bryan (Judy) of Navarre, FL; 6 step-children, Michael (Lauree) and James (Robin) Eggebraaten both of Cloquet, Randall Eggebraaten of St. Louis Park, Cathy (Nick) Bovich and Barbara Eggebraaten, both of St. Cloud and Tina Eggebraaten of Grand Rapids; 6 step-grandchildren; an uncle, Raymond Oles of Duluth and a special friend, Frank Dietz of Cloquet. A Memorial service was held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 28, 2002 in Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Cloquet. Inurnment will be in the spring in the veterans section of Forest Hill Cemetery, Duluth. Arrangements entrusted to Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet.
