Obituary of Inez Marie Wilminko

Inez Marie Wilminko, 88 lifelong resident of Gowan died Wednesday, January 21, 2004 in Community Memorial Hospital, Cloquet. She was born May 6, 1915 in Cuyana, MN the only child of John Eino and Hennah (Hill) Raiha. She married John Wilminko on December 18, 1933 in Floodwood. Inez was preceded in death by her husband, John; son, Robert Wilminko; one grandson; and four great grandchildren. She is survived by four daughters, Beatrice (Howard) Tamminen of Cornucopia, WI; Delores (Dennis) Simi of Blaine; Nancy Nepple (Gary Powell) of Floodwood; Carol (Keith) Johnson of Brooklyn Center; one son, Leonard Wilminko of Floodwood; 21 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren; one aunt, Martha Leppi of Hermantown; and one uncle, John Hill of Duluth. Funeral services were held on Monday, January 26, 2004 in Hope Lutheran Church in Floodwood. Interment will be in the spring in Hope Lutheran Cemetery, Floodwood. Arrangements entrusted to Northland Funeral Home, Cloquet.
