Obituary of Helen Ina Mildred Rosbacka

Helen Ina Mildred Soyring Rosbacka, 79 of Cloquet, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2002 in Community Memorial Nursing Home after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born April 8, 1923 in Sugar Bush Township, Becker County, MN to Edward and Ina (Randa) Soyring. In 1940, Helen married Wilbert Rosbacka and they made their home in Tamarack. In 1966 they moved to Cloquet. Helen was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, where she had been active in the WMF, the church choir and the Senior Bible Study. Helen was preceded in death by 6 brothers, Harold, Eino, Carl, Raymond, Eugene and Larry Soyring; one sister, Alice Kivi and one grandson, Todd Randa. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Wilbert; her children, Ronald (Nancy) of Wright, Carol (Dennis) Randa of Duluth, Roy (Debbie) of St. Francis, MN, Wayne (Linda) of Eau Claire, WI, Debra (Richard) Anderson of McGregor, 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; two brothers, Donald (Corine) Soyring and Edward (Sharon) Soyring both of Ogema, MN; one sister, Doris Cogger of Lexington, MN; four aunts, Elsie of Minneapolis, Bertha and Signe of Chicago and Ruth of Aurora. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, September 25, 2002 in Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th St. in Cloquet. A time of fellowship and lunch followed in the Fireside Room of the Funeral Home. Burial was in Salo Cemetery, Salo Township at 2:30 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Northland Funeral Home, Cloquet.
