Obituary of Jordon H. Johnson

Jordon H. Johnson, 66, Floodwood, died Sunday, December 1, 2002 as a result of a logging accident. He was born November 17, 1936, in Duluth, the son of Hjalmer and Elsie (Kytola) Johnson. Jordon was a 1954 graduate of Floodwood High School. He married Shirley Autio on May 10, 1958 in Floodwood. Jordon was a retired sheetmetal worker, retiring in 1994. He was a member of Sheetmetal Workers Local #10 (formerly #32). Jordon was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed farming, logging, fishing, hunting and trapping. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Danny in 1988 and a brother, Lon Johnson in 1996. Jordon is survived by his wife, Shirley of Floodwood; five sons, Cory of Duluth and his special friend, Lisa Lashinski of Little Falls, Mark (Danette) of Floodwood and their children, Matthew and Michael, Jordon "Joe" (Molly) of Sauk Rapids and their children, Zac, Jordon and Naomi, Ryan (Carrie) of Floodwood and their children Amanda and Caryn and Neil (Rena) of Floodwood and their children, Marissa and Nicholas and Danny's daughter, Ashley; two sisters, Evelyn (Raymond) Mickelson of Floodwood and Gloria (Harold) Royseth of Duluth. Memorial services were held on Thursday, December 5, 2002 in Hope Lutheran Church, Floodwood. Arrangements entrusted to Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet.
