Obituary of Stanley Emil Konu

Stanley Emil Konu, 60 of Millington, Michigan formerly of Esko died Saturday, September 28, 2002. He was born June 10, 1942 in Cloquet to Emil and Vienna (Kultala) Konu. Stanley grew up in Esko and graduated from Esko High School in 1960. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He taught Industrial Arts in the Vassar-Millington, Michigan area for 25 years. Stanley was preceded in death by his mother, Vienna in 1996. He is survived by his father, Emil Konu of Esko; uncles, Eddie Kultala of Cloquet and Arvid (Meredith) Konu of Esko; aunts, Ruth Kelho and Lillian Hill both of California, Taimi Johnson of Duluth. Memorial Services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2002 in Apostolic Lutheran Church in Esko. Inurnment was in Apostolic Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangement entrusted to Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th St. in Cloquet.
