Obituary of Archie Arthur Tuominen

Archie Arthur Tuominen, 64 of Cedar Valley passed away on Friday, May 14, 2004 at his home. He was born July 14, 1939 in Wawina to Arthur and Vienna (Matalamaki) Tuominen. Archie grew up in Cedar Valley and attended Cedar Valley Grade School. He graduated from Floodwood High School in 1958. Archie was an Army Veteran serving from 1962 until 1965. He was a self-employed logger for over 40 years. He was a member of the Cedar Valley Independent Apostolic Lutheran Church. Archie was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brothers, Eugene (Lela) of Saginaw, Michael (Cindy) of Floodwood; sister, Kathleen (Dennis) Juusola of Floodwood; several nieces and nephews; many friends and a host of brothers and sisters in faith. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. (today) Monday, May 17, 2004 in the Independent Apostolic Lutheran Church in Cedar Valley. Visitation will continue from 1 until the 2:00 p.m. funeral service Tuesday, May 18, 2004 also in Cedar Valley Independent Apostolic Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Cedar Valley Cemetery.
