Obituary of Robert Lee Follett

Robert Lee Follett, 65 of Scanlon, died Saturday, December 28, 2002 in his home. He was born July 24, 1937 in Minneapolis. Robert grew up in Cloquet and graduated from Cloquet High School in 1956. He was an Army veteran serving from 1957 until 1962. Robert was an ironworker for Union Local 563 until retiring in 1992. He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting, fishing and reloading ammunition. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Wayne Follet and sister, Bev Anderson. He is survived by his sons, Gary (Gina), Craig (Nan) both of Cloquet, Mark (Roberta) of Esko and Jeff (Sandi) of Carlton; daughters, Dawn (Perry) St. Germain of Scanlon and Deborah Bernier of St. Cloud; and their mother, Diann (Tom) Mike of Carlton; brothers, Donald (Katherine), Elmer (Karen) and James all of Cloquet; sister, Helen (Bill) McCullough of Cloquet; 14 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 31, 2002 in Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th St. Inurnment was in the Union Woodland Cemetery in McGregor.
