Obituary of Evelyn Lois Huhta

Evelyn Lois Huhta, 81 of Cromwell died Saturday, June 19, 2004 in the Roseville Good Samaritan Home in Roseville with her family by her side. She was born May 12, 1923 in Ward County, North Dakota. Evelyn grew up in Sanborn, Minnesota. Evelyn moved to Cromwell in 1945 where she worked as a cook, waitress and bartender until retiring in 1984. Evelyn married Charles Huhta on July 30, 1955 in Duluth. She enjoyed cooking and taking good care of her family. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Charles on December 28, 2002; sisters, Arlene and Mabel. She is survived by her daughters, Jeanne (Doug) Wise of Sawyer, Sandra (Mike) Donahue of Maplewood, Darla (Chris) Skramstad of Barnum; sons, Greg (Jodell) of Anoka, Michael of Cromwell, and Mark (Debbie) of Cromwell; sisters, Delores Erwin of Washington and Betty Moller of California; 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Memorial Services were held on Friday, June 25, 2004 in Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th St. in Cloquet. Inurnment was in Eagle Lake Cemetery.
