Obituary of Marian E. Larson

Marian E. Larson, 90 of Wrenshall died Tuesday, May 27, 2003 at her daughter's residence after a brief illness. She was born December 12, 1912 to John A. and Hilda (Nelson) Johnson in Wrenshall. She married Edward Larson on December 13, 1947 in Longview. Washington and returned to Wrenshall in 1958. Marian worked as an aide and practical nurse until she retired from Nopeming Nursing Home in 1978. She enjoyed gardening and playing scrabble. Marian is preceded in death by her husband, Edward in 1968; brothers, Clarence, Arnold, Chester, Walfred, Irvin and Vern; sisters, Eleanor Paulson and Evelyn Holmes. She is survived by her daughter, Christine (Ron) Merritt of Wrenshall; sisters, Irene (Leo) Loisel of Cloquet, Alice (Jim) Ervin of Carlton; brothers, Robert Johnson of Carlton and Melvin Johnson of Cloquet; many nieces and nephews; special friend Wilma Ziebarth of Wrenshall; and faithful companion, Lucky. Funeral services were held on Monday, June 2, 2003 in Northland Funeral Home.
