I have such fond memories of visiting your family with my parents when I was growing up in the Moose Lake area.
A few years ago, I had a conversation with your father reminiscing about the days on the farm. It was such a pleasure to spend time with him. My parents mentioned your parents often. They both passed away in 1996.
Please accept my sincere sympathy for the loss of both your parents.

Caroline, Dan & Andrew,
We wish we could be there to give you support during this time. We extend our heartfelt sympathy. It was difficult when you lost your Dad and now losing your Mom so soon, we know it must seem unbearable. Hopefully knowing they are together again and with our heavenly Father will help ease your sorrow. Lydia was a lovely lady whom we admired and loved. She was very special to us. We have many fond memories of her, especially of her love for the Twins and Vikings. Please know our thoughts are with you and your grief is shared. We keep you in our hearts and prayers. Love you guys. Howard & Margaret

please accept my deepest sympathy upon the recent loss of both parents. They surely must have had a close bond. I have many great memories as a child, when my Mom & Dad would sometimes let me stay and visit when they went to Duluth. I always had a lot of fun. We sometimes went to Metso's as well. May you find comfort in the memories made. I know how it feels to lose them both. It helps to know that love never dies, and nobody can ever take that from you. My sympathy, Faye

Hi Grandma. I bet it's beautiful where you are at and you are happy to be back with Grandpa. I was just wondering...what is it like there? Did you and Grandpa dance a Polka or a Waltz? Did Grandpa ask you, "What took you so long?" Are you holding baby Kathleen together like you held my mom in that picture? Remember that picture? Grandma, losing you is oh so hard, but it's comforting to know that you are with The Lord and with Grandpa. Just where you want to be. We know you have lived a wonderful and successful life here and have done more than your share of work here. Grandma, thank you for your many years of generous love and support and words of wisdom. You have been a true and wonderful example. For without you, I know that I would not be the person I am today. And thank you, grandma, for your beautiful smiles and sparkles in your eyes. We love you.

Dearest family members, I don't know Lydia, but my eyes were attracted to the obituary this morning, simply because she lived a life simular to my Mother(parents). I must tell you that my parents died a few years ago, my father Noe. 16 and a month to the day later, my mother died Dec. 16. I just want to express my symphony, I know the grief that you are feeling losing two parents close together, God's blessings to you. gene, Mckeever

My sympathies to the family on losing their mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Lydia's face in the county was one I'll always remember. We weren't all that close, but I knew who she was because she was always there, helping at the county fair, 4H functions, homemakers, etc. She was one of those hard-working, quality people that I felt one could always count on to give her best at all times. She was someone to use as a guide, teacher, and one to emulate. I will certainly miss her presence.
