Obituary of Mary Ann Tabako

Mary Ann Tabako, 81, of Wright, died peacefully, Friday, July 19, 2002 in Community Memorial Hospital in Cloquet with her family by her side. She was born September 4, 1920 in Minneapolis to Samuel and Anna (Kozub) Natysin. She graduated from Vocational High School in Minneapolis. She married Stanley J. Tabako on October 15, 1939 in Minneapolis. They moved to Wright in 1969. Mary loved to cook, bake, read and crochet. In her younger days, she loved to fish. She loved her cats. Most of all, Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by a son, Anthony; a brother, Cubby Natysin and a sister, Emily Iskierka. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Stanley; her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandson; a brother, a sister and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Monday, July 22, 2002 in Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th St. in Cloquet. A time of fellowship and lunch followed in the Fireside Room of the funeral home. Burial was in Wright Public Cemetery.
