Obituary of Lois Ann Wipson

Lois Ann Wipson, age 84, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Lois was born March 23, 1937 to Eugene and Marion (Davies) Lueck in Duluth. Lois was born and raised in Duluth working for many years at the Human Development Center. She also volunteered and held leadership roles in the National Cancer Society. Lois and her husband retired to the "cabin" in Cotton, MN where they enjoyed lake life for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Jean (Lueck) Brewer; and brother, Eugene Lueck. Lois is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, William Alan Wipson; her children, Gregory Wipson, Michael (Susan) Wipson, Susan (Lyle) Thomason and Steven (Christine) Wipson; five grandchildren, Breann Thomason, Callie Thomason, Jesse Wipson, Sydney Wipson and Grace Wipson; and six nieces and nephews. Lois spent her last two years of life in the care of the wonderful staff at Diamond Willow in Proctor, MN. A private graveside service will be held at the Minnesota State Veteran Cemetery in Duluth.
