Obituary of Mary Carol Erickson
Mary Carol (Suhonen) Erickson, 70, of Wright, MN passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022 with family by her side. She was born December 20, 1951 in Cloquet, MN to Niilo and Vera (Bogenholm) Suhonen. Mary graduated from Cromwell-Wright High School and attended the Duluth Technical College. She married Sherman Erickson in 1978 in Wright, MN. Mary worked as an LPN at various hospitals and clinics for 50 years. She received a nurse of the year award. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and was the best storyteller ever.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Erickson and her parents.
Mary is survived by her siblings, Douglas (Bonnie) Suhonen of Wright, MN, Joyce Suhonen of Stafford, TX, Peggy Dahl of Cloquet, MN, Roger (Kim) Suhonen of Cromwell, MN, Sharon (Jim) Lisson of Cloquet, MN, Robert (Ulla) Suhonen of Stockerau, Austria, Cindy (John) Woodward of Woodbury, MN, Jeff (Theresa) Suhonen of Wright, MN; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the Cromwell-Wright Evangelical Free Church, Pease Ave and 3rd St, Wright, MN.
