Obituary of Troy Roger Getman
Troy Roger Getman, 53, of Cloquet, passed away on September 13, 2023 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Duluth. He was born on December 7, 1969 in Onamia, MN to David Getman and Dolores Johnson.
Troy worked construction for KF Loosen, mending metal from 1994 till 2002. Walmart for 5 years and Black Bear Casino for 10 plus years. He was a dedicated volunteer with the Culver Fire Department for 30 years. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, biking, snowmobiling, working on small projects and he especially loved helping others.
He was preceded in death by his Father, David LeRoy Getman; stepfather, Joseph Conrad Johnson.
Troy is survived by his mother, Dolores; brothers, Terry Allan Olson and Brian Alexander Getman.
Visitation starts at noon until the 1:00 p.m. Memorial service on Saturday, September 23, 2023 in Atkins Northland Funeral Home.
