Obituary of Albert Jasper Holm
Albert Jasper Holm, age 86, of Carlton passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, Minnesota. Albert was born to Albert and Lucille Holm on February 4, 1937. He was raised in Camanche, Iowa, graduating in 1955, joining the Air Force shortly after. Albert married Florence Elaine in Carlton, in 1970.
He worked as the Transportation Supervisor for the Carlton School District. Belonging to the Bethesda Lutheran Church, Wednesday Morning Breakfast Club, and Friday morning bible study kept him busy. Albert enjoyed sports, but his favorite times were those spent with the grandkids.
Preceded in death by his wife, Florence Holm; parents, Albert and Lucille Holm; 3 brothers; Baby Boy Theisen, and many others.
Albert will be missed by: Chuck (Barb) Goad, Bobbie Johnson, Craig (Des) Holm, Cheryl (Todd) Schilla, Kristin and Chad Goad, Nichole and Robert Theisen, Brittany and Lindsey Dahl-Holm, Cody Jacoby, Aaron Schilla, Callie Holm, many great grandkids, nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Noon until the service begins at 1:00pm on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at Atkins Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet, MN. A luncheon will follow the service, with a burial at Silverbrook Cemetery in the spring with Military Honors.
