Obituary of Ronald Gene Rosbacka
Ronald Gene Rosbacka, 82, of Wright passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, MN. Ronald was born to Wilbert and Helen (Soyring) Rosbacka on April 3, 1941, in Moose Lake, MN. Ronald was raised and attended school in Tamarack, graduating from McGregor, MN in the class of 1959. Ronald married Nancy (Randa) on June 4, 1966, together they shared a life for 40 years and created a loving family.
Ronald was a plant foreman for Peatrex LTD until he retired in 2006. Ronald was a member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and the McGregor American Legion. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cars, listening to the oldies, he was a master handyman (except for plumbing). He loved spending time with his daughter and granddaughter.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nancy; sister, Carol Randa; in-laws, Dennis, Walter, Jack Randa, Clinton and Judy Hakamaki, and Shirley Lund.
He will be greatly missed by his daughter, Tina Rosbacka; granddaughter, Payton; brothers, Roy (Debbie), Wayne (Linda); sister, Debra (Rich) Anderson; in-laws, Richard (Susan) Randa, Daniel (Kay) Randa, Roger Lund, Cooky Nyberg, Beanie Randa; various nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 10:00 a.m. until the Memorial Service begins at 11:00 a.m., with a luncheon to follow, on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1705 Wilson Ave, Cloquet, MN.
