I worked with Stan at Altec. I have many fond memories of him. He sure wasn't shy and would talk to you forever if you'd let him. Tonight for some reason I was thinking of Altec I haven't worked there once 2012 let alone thought of the place... and Stan popped into my mind. I could not remember his last name for the life of me so I contacted a mutual friend. I decided to Google stan and found out that he had passed. Because he was weighing so hard on my mind I found it appropriate to say a prayer for him and his family. It also led me to here. When I'd come up from Iowa to visit my mother in law occasionally id run into Stan. One of those times we actually both weren't too busy and I spent half a day or so with him. we went to this over look where if you stand in the middle of it it had a weird echo when others talked to you. He called it the phenomenon lol. He sure missed Sharon I remember that vividly. He had a few rough nights at work. Probably more at home. He's is with her now. May he rest in peace. God got another good one!

I was shocked to see Stan in the paper. I just talked to him 2 weeks ago. Outside the Carlton store. He was in his van eating his candy bar. I showed him my new/used car. Another Subaru. I still drive the Baja I bought from him a few years ago. And I still have the station wagon of your mom's. We worked together and did the ride share when worked at superwood. He was the mechanic and I was the electrician for our shift. I thought of him as the Big Brother I never had. I'm going to miss the big guy. My condolences to the family . Take care

My condolences to Stanley’s family. Stanley, yes we called him Stanley, was a much younger cousin to my father Earl who was the oldest of the cousins, so my older brother and sisters are about his age. We would always look for Stanley and other cousins, Sharon and Sandy and we would sit together and visit for hours. Laughing and talking about our families, especially great grampa ( grampa to him) memories. I remembered and cherished his warm personality all my years even when not seeing him for years.
